Tiny Tots & Tunes
(Ages 18 months - 2.5 yrs)
This sweet and playful class is designed for our tiniest dancers to explore the joy of music and movement alongside a grown-up! Through songs, rhythm activities, creative movement, and simple dance steps, toddlers will develop coordination, listening skills, and a love for dance in a fun and nurturing environment. This class is a wonderful introduction to the studio setting and a great way to bond through movement.

Tap/Ballet/Tumble Combo
(Ages 3 - 4)
Our Preschool combo is the perfect introduction to dance for preschoolers! This fun and energetic combo class includes tap, ballet, and tumbling, giving young dancers a well-rounded foundation. Dancers will build coordination, rhythm, balance, and flexibility while learning basic steps in each style through imaginative movement and playful activities. This class encourages creativity, confidence, and classroom skills—all in a supportive and upbeat environment designed just for little ones!
Kindergarten - 1st Grade
Tap/Ballet Combo
This delightful combo class introduces dancers to the foundations of both tap and ballet in a fun, structured setting. Dancers will explore rhythm and sound through tap, while developing grace, posture, and coordination through ballet. The class is designed to build confidence, musicality, and a love for dance using imaginative movement and age-appropriate technique. Perfect for young dancers ready to take their first steps in multiple styles!
Ballet/Jazz Combo
This lively combo class introduces dancers to the grace of ballet and the energy of jazz in one well-rounded experience! Dancers will build a strong technical foundation through ballet barre and center work, then explore rhythm, style, and performance skills through upbeat jazz combinations. Perfect for young dancers who love both elegance and excitement, this class promotes coordination, flexibility, and expressive movement—all in a fun and supportive environment.
Acro/Hip Hop Combo
This upbeat and exciting class combines the athleticism of acrobatics with the rhythm and style of hip hop! Dancers will learn foundational acro skills like rolls, bridges, and balances, alongside age-appropriate hip hop choreography that builds musicality, coordination, and confidence. This class is perfect for dancers who love to move, groove, and challenge themselves with fun tricks and freestyle energy!
Grades 2nd - 12th
Acrobatics
Our Acrobatics class focuses on strength, flexibility, balance, and control while teaching students how to safely perform acro skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, and more. We follow the Acrobatic Arts curriculum, a professionally developed program that emphasizes safe progressions and proper technique. Dancers are guided through skill-building exercises that support individual growth and help them achieve personal milestones in a structured and supportive environment.

Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles, focusing on grace, technique, strength, and discipline. In this class, dancers will learn proper body alignment, classical positions, and fluid movement through barre work, center combinations, and across-the-floor exercises. Jazz

Jazz draws from both classical and contemporary influences, encouraging dancers to express themselves with confidence and personality. Tap
Tap dance is a rhythmic and energetic style that focuses on creating sound with your feet! Dancers will learn footwork, timing, and musicality through exercises that build coordination, balance, and listening skills. Classes include warm-ups, across-the-floor patterns, and fun combinations that develop both technique and expression. Tap is a great way for dancers to explore rhythm and make music while they move!
Contemporary
Contemporary dance blends elements of ballet, modern, and jazz to create expressive and fluid movement. This class focuses on body awareness, flexibility, strength, and creativity through exercises that explore balance, floor work, and dynamic choreography. Dancers learn to connect emotion and storytelling with movement, developing their own unique style while building strong technical skills. Perfect for those who love to move freely and expressively!
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is a fun, high-energy dance style that emphasizes rhythm, groove, and individual style. Dancers will learn foundational moves, isolations, and choreography set to popular and age-appropriate music. This class builds coordination, confidence, and musicality while encouraging self-expression and creativity. Perfect for dancers who love to move with attitude and have fun!
Leaps, Turns & Conditioning
This dynamic class focuses on refining jumps, leaps, and turns to help dancers develop strength, control, and precision. Through targeted exercises and technique drills, dancers will improve their balance, flexibility, and coordination while learning to execute clean, powerful leaps and smooth, controlled turns. Perfect for jazz dancers looking to elevate their performance skills!

Pointe
Pointe class is an advanced ballet class designed to strengthen dancers for dancing on the tips of their toes using pointe shoes. This class focuses on building foot and ankle strength, alignment, balance, and proper technique to safely perform pointe work. Dancers will practice exercises both at the barre and center to develop control, grace, and artistry. Pointe is ideal for experienced ballet students ready to take their technique to the next level with elegance and precision.

We aim to empower every student, whether in acro (acrobatics), ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, hip hop, or tap with discipline, creativity, and confidence. At our Pflugerville dance studio, we believe the art of dance offers every child a pathway to self-expression, growth, and joy.

Jerri opened Dance Elements in 2007 and is owner and artistic director. She has been dancing since the age of two. She trained in Southeast Texas and began her teaching career at Sandy Calamia’s Danceworks in Groves, Texas in 1997.
She has been active in the competition and convention aspect of the dance world since the age of eight and won several awards as a competitive dancer including Dance Olympus Miss Dance Finalist Kids Artistic Revue Miss Dance of Houston, and 2000 Healiner Dancer. She continues her training annually by attending dance conventions.
Jerri moved to Austin in 2000 and began teaching at multiple Austin area studios including Alisa' s Dance Academy, Georgetown Performing Arts Studio, Let's Dance, and Allstars Dance & Gym Co.
She graduated from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in 2004 with an accounting degree and worked for Ballet Austin before opening Dance Elements in 2007.
Jerri enjoys teaching multiple styles of dance but loves teaching tap and acrobatics. She is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Jerri is the Director of Spotlight Performance Company and has won multiple choreography awards.
She enjoys judging auditions for high school and private studio teams. She is passionate about teaching dance and continues to pass on her love for dance to students of all ages.
